A North California-based funk and groove clothing, Netwerk: Electric was created from the ashes of Home of Five Bands, a Santa Cruz music group featuring drummer Mike Jaramillo and guitarist Dave Menez. When the music group known as it quits in the summertime of 1998, Jaramillo produced an open demand musicians to greatly help him complete at a previously booked Home of Five Bands engagement. A veritable military of musicians arrived. The producing group, who understood one another from jamming at numerous home celebrations, dubbed itself the Santa Cruz Funk Collective.
