Nepenthe

Based in NJ, Nepenthe started their progressive rock and roll job in 1990. Their initial, short-lived moniker was Ars Nova and the initial lineup was Todd Mizenko (electric guitar), Matt Mizenko (bass), Jamie Boruch (drums), Dan Vitco (tips), and Ernie Atella (vocals). Both Vitco and Atella remaining the group the next years. Vitco was changed by Eddie Konczal while Keith Watlington became the brand new vocalist for the music group. It had been this lineup that documented 1992’s Turning the Tide. Watlington remaining Nepenthe in 1994 and was changed by Jason Rosenfeld. With this lineup they released Everything Was Gorgeous and Nothing Harm in 1997. Another year would observe another switch of staff with Rosenfeld out and Vince Ascoli (Relayer) in. The group split up in 1999.
