Neo Boys

Among the pioneering all-female punk rings of Portland, Oregon’s punk picture from the ’70s and early ’80s, Neo Young boys formed through the ashes of Formica & the Bitches, when vocalist KT Kincaid, her bassist sister Kim, guitarist Jennifer Lobianco, and drummer Pat Baum began performing collectively in 1978. The group performed plenty of underground displays aswell as high-profile types opening for Tv as well as the Wipers, and in 1980 they documented their debut EP, Provide Me the Message, using the second option band’s Greg Sage. Lobianco remaining Portland for Hollywood later on that yr, and Neo Young boys found a fresh guitarist in Meg Hentges, a far more sophisticated participant who helped the music group broaden its design. This lineup documented 1982’s Crumbling Misconceptions EP, which demonstrated off the group’s even more achieved musicianship and significantly eloquent and politics lyrics.
