Negros are an acclaimed bachata group from your Dominican Republic boasting ace songwriter Wason Brazobán within their regular membership. Originally created in 2001 beneath the auspices of maker Cholo Brenes, the group is definitely made up of Joel Silverio, Tommy Jiménez, and Kelvin Jiménez, furthermore to Brazobán, who creates the majority of their materials. Moreover, Brazobán’s tunes have been protected over time by several others, including Monchy & Alexandra, Domenic M, and Los Toros Music group. Signed to the brand new York-based bachata label Superior Latin Music (also house to Aventura and Elvis Martínez), Negros produced their full-length debut in 2003 using a self-titled discharge. Popular in addition to critically acclaimed, Negros gained the group four Casandra Honours (honors bestowed with the Dominican Association of Journalists): Revelation of the entire year, Best Record of the entire year, Song of the entire year (for “Así Te Amo”), and Songwriter of the entire year (directed at Brazobán). The follow-up record Sin Fecha de Vencimiento premiered by Superior Latin Music in 2005, accompanied by Armadura de Rosas in 2007, the last mentioned featuring the strike one “Con las Manos Vacias.”
