Nazia & Zoheb Hassan

The favorite brother-sister duo, Nazia and Zoheb Hassan, was among the first acts whose appeal hopscotched linguistic, ethnic and national chalklines. London-based and of Pakistani removal, they broke fresh ground using their disco-inflected music. Nazia Hassan’s strike “Aap Jaisa Koi” (Hindi for “Someone as if you”) from your film Qurbani was among the feelings of 1980 (on Polydor cassette 3227 038). Close behind it, she and her sibling established themselves having a massively well-known Hindi-language strike cum rallying cry known as “Disco Deewane” (“Disco Crazy”). Graph achievement in India, Pakistan, Argentina, Venezuela as well as the Gulf strengthened their international charm.
