Better referred to as legendary U.K. punk-pop combo the Damned, the Nightmares was a great one-off side task that allowed the 1984-period lineup of this band to disappointed their hair, having to pay tribute to a variety of ’60s garage area/psych forebears. The Nightmares’ singular album, Provide Daddy the Blade Cindy, catches their achievement at doing that.
