A Canadian Americana combo away from Winnipeg, Nathan come with an intriguing and eccentric audio that is component country, part outrageous Gypsy music, and component rootsy pop with a wholesome dosage of Tom Waits-styled everything-but-the-kitchen-sink creation thrown in, all led from the gorgeous harmonies of guitarist Keri Latimer (previously Keri McTighe) and Shelley Marshall (banjo, acoustic guitar, and killer accordion), with a good and versatile tempo portion of Devin Latimer about bass and Damon Mitchell about drums. The group’s origins get back to 1995 when McTighe became a member of Christine Fellows in Unique Fancy, eventually getting Marshall over from her use Hugo Torres’ music group. Special Fancy break up soon after Marshall became a member of, nevertheless, but McTighe and Marshall continuing to interact, officially developing Nathan in 1999. The music group released Stranger in 2001, accompanied by the critically acclaimed Jimson Weed in 2004 as well as the amazing Key Principles, that was made by Howard Redekopp, in 2007.
