Nataraj XT

Goa trance trio Nataraj XT has its root base in the original Indian audio of Nataraj, a duo made up of sarod participant Richard “Rishi” Bernet and sitar participant Pierre Moitram. Once the couple of traditional music artists met techno musician Kapi in 1999, they had taken him in to the band’s rates, transformed the group’s name, and fused traditional and contemporary sounds. Bernet used the sarod during his pupil times in California through the early ’70s. His period spent on the Ali Akbar Khan Music University motivated him to vacation to India. Afterwards settling in France, he became a member of the music group Origine. He continued to become listed on the group Lal Ganesh in 1996. The next year he documented and toured with Massilia Noises System. 2 yrs later he used Evening in Soho. Moitram became students from the sitar under a devotee of Ravi Shankar, Pramod Kumar. He continued to be in Paris with Kumar from 1972 through 1975. He continuing his research under Debu Chaudhuri at New Deli School from 1975 through 1980. Kapi is really a self-taught drummer, bassist, and guitarist, although in 1979 he do consider formal piano instructions. In 1990 he co-founded the group Aproche with Coup D’Etat’s guitarist.
