Nando Reis

Bassist, composer, and vocalist of Titãs, Nando Reis was among the founders of the group in 1982. One of the band’s strikes compiled by him are “Bichos Escrotos” (with Arnaldo Antunes/Sérgio Britto), “Operating-system Cegos perform Castelo,” “Pra Dizer Adeus” (with Tony Belloto), among others. He also experienced songs documented by Cidade Negra (“Onde Você Mora”), Marisa Monte (his ex-wife, “Diariamente”), Sandra de Sá/Cássia Eller (“Um Tiro no Coração”), Eller (“E.C.T.”), Jota Mission, and Skank. His 1st solo recording, 12 de Janeiro, premiered in 1995 and in exactly the same 12 months, he launched the next one, Em virtude de Quando o Arco-Íris Encontrar o Pote de Ouro, using the involvement (within the documenting and Brazilian tour) of Barrett Martin (R.E.M., ex-Screaming Trees and shrubs) and Alex Veley (Maktub).
