Naimee Coleman

Naimee Coleman emerged within the mid-’90s as you of Ireland’s most promising singer/songwriters. Raised by hippie parents inside a peaceful suburb of Dublin, Coleman started writing tunes at age 14 and later on became a support vocalist for the right now defunct Irish rock-band the Wilde Oscars. After earning the 2FM Track Contest at age 16, she rejected a record offer from EMI to focus on her research, but eventually authorized with them 2 yrs later on. In 1996, she documented her debut full-length, Metallic Wrists, at Abbey Street Studios, as well as the album continued to market 50,000 copies and resulted in achievement in Germany and Japan, where she thoroughly toured for pretty much 2 yrs. In 2000 she teamed up with dance duo Aurora UK within the U.K. Best Five strike “Ordinary Globe,” a cover from the Duran Duran ’90s strike, and later continued to record songs for his or her self-titled debut recording. A year later on she collaborated with founded songwriters Boo Hewerdine, Phil Thornalley, and Eg White colored on her behalf sophomore album, LOWER the Moon, citing Björk and Massive Assault as influences. Since that time, she’s divided her time taken between L.A. and Dublin, carrying out romantic acoustic showcases and composing tracks on her behalf next album.
