Nagelfar

Not to end up being confused using the Swedish music group Naglfar, Aachen, Germany’s Nagelfar were founded in 1993 simply by guitarist Zorn and drummer Alexander von Meilenwald, posting only their shared interest in dark metallic and a name predicated on the “wraith ferry” described in Norse mythology. After sharpening their audio on several demos and adding vocalist Jander and bassist Sveinn, Nagelfar documented their 1st full-length recording, Hünengrab Im Herbst, in 1997, with hometown hero Andy Classen of Holy Moses popularity acting as maker. This, along using its 1999 follow-up, Strontgorrth, showcased the band’s uncompromising make of epic, German-sung dark metal in every its misanthropic extremis, as well as the second option also introduced fresh people Zingultus (vocals) and Chaos (bass) towards the group. Nagelfar later authorized with indie label Ars Metalli for the 2001 launch of their third and, since it turned out, last album, Virus Western, and they quietly went their separate methods.
