Nadja

Located in Toronto, this ambient doom/steel/electronic duo was the brainchild (and originally the single task) of Aidan Baker. Currently a prolific musician who acquired released several works with brands worldwide — including a massive catalog of CD-R just produces — Baker utilized Nadja to explore the darker areas of his musical spirit. Dealing with vocalist and bass participant Leah Buckareff allowed the extension of Nadja’s audio, along with the capability to play live. Set up in 2003, Nadja’s early produces followed the design already set up by Baker, in other words a whole lot of CD-R limited produces, but by 2005, the duo was prepared for official launch, and Alien8 released that year’s Truth Becomes Loss of life. More releases adopted, including EPs and collaborative attempts, and in 2007 Alien8 and Nadja released the well-received Handled. The music group also constructed a pursuing by opening displays for such post-metal luminaries as Sea and Isis.
