Nadège Rochat

Nadège Rochat is a Swiss cellist. She examined cello from age group 4 and was trained initial by her aunt, Fabienne Dambrini, after that afterwards by Jakob Clasen. In 2001 at age group 10, Rochat became the youngest finalist from the worldwide competition, Jeunes artistes. She became a member of the pre-professional classes trained by Daniel Heafliger on the Geneva Conservatory. Between 2003 and 2009, she got into several cello tournaments, winning the initial prizes from the Vatelot-Rampal, the Concours des Jeunesses Musicale Suisse, as well as the German competition, Jugend musiziert, aswell as the Prix du Crédit Suisse. She examined with Maria Kliegel on the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL for Music, Cologne, and gained a scholarship in the Carl Dörken Base. Her debut documenting in 2012 on Ars Produktion highlighted concertos by Lalo and Milhaud.
