Mytown

A teen-affiliated pop group located in Dublin, Mytown featured the abilities of vocalist/pianist Paul Walker, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Danny O’Donoghue, and vocalists/guitarists Marc Sheehan and Terry Daly. The foursome fulfilled in 1996 on the Diggers Street performing arts college and began performing together almost instantly. After making a hype in the U.K., the group made an appearance on American Television and on the soundtrack to Snow Time just before releasing the one “GIVEN THAT I CAME ACROSS You.” Their self-titled debut record followed in middle-2000, but Mytown got disbanded by the next yr. O’Donoghue and Sheehan briefly relocated to LA, where they worked well as makers before time for Ireland and developing the effective pop/rock and roll trio the Script.
