When Canadian really difficult rockers April Wines disintegrated in 1985, lead vocalist Goodwin embarked in a solo career. He instantly divorced himself through the design to which he was familiar. Forsaking his blues rock and roll roots, he focused on MOR pop/rock and roll with understated electric guitar and light-weight harmonies. Using the providers of session music artists, he documented a self-titled debut in the Atlantic label in 1988. This didn’t win a fresh audience, and at exactly the same time alienated his previous fanbase. The record sank without track and little continues to be heard about him since.
