My Teenage Stride

At its inception, the indie pop band My Teenage Stride was the group name for solo artist Jedediah Smith. Smith, a vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, was raised in Massachusetts, where he started playing your guitar at age 14, afterwards adding bass, piano, and drums. Immediately after, he started writing and documenting his own music. After a one and an EP (“Blackbeard’s Ghost” and I AM SORRY, respectively), his initial full-length record was A Sad Cloud, released by Banazan Information in 2004. The next My Teenage Stride record, Major Major, premiered by Becalmed Information in 2005. By enough time of the 3rd record, Ears Like Golden Bats, released on Feb 20, 2007, Smith acquired earned bassist Jenny Logan, drummer Brett Whitmoyer, and guitarist Dakkan Abbe.
