My Sad Captains

London indie rock and roll act My Sad Captains formed in ’09 2009, composed of guitarist/sonic manipulator Nick Goss, vocalist/guitarist Ed Wallis, bassist Dan Davis, and drummer/vocalist Jim Wallis. The bandmembers got their name from a range within a poem from Thom Gunn and cultivated a hypnotic, pulsing indie rock and roll sound. Carrying out a few early singles, the music group released debut record Here & Somewhere else in ’09 2009, pursuing up in 2011 with Combat Less Win Even more. They toured internationally to get both information, playing the South by Southwest celebration aswell as writing a stage on travels with works like Califone but still Corners. Third record Best of that time period materialized in 2014 in the Bella Union label.
