My Own Victim

Affected by hardcore and, to a little extent, rap, Kentucky’s MY VERY OWN Sufferer brought their make of alternative steel from the Midwest and onto the Hundred years Press label in the mid-’90s. The group’s lineup by 1998’s The Tool includes vocalist Vic Hillerich, guitarists Brian Omer and Jeff Plaything, bassist Todd Conn, and drummer Sean Fitzgibbons, basically Fitzgibbons becoming founding members. MY VERY OWN Sufferer debuted in the U.S. in 1995 with Burning up Inside, that was adopted in 1997 by No Tone of voice, No Privileges, No Independence and in 1998 from the Weapon.
