Biography
My Awesome Compilation were formed by two pieces of brothers from Leicester, U.K., who have been inspired by SUNSHINEY DAY PROPERTY, the Smiths, Spy Vs. Spy, and Pedro the Lion. Chris Drivers (electric guitar, vocals), Andy Drivers (drums), Darius Cobb (bass, vocals), and Woody Cobb (keyboards) spent 2 yrs touring before they released the “mini record” The Watch Is certainly Amazing in 2004 on Scorepoint/Bravestar Information. Following a sold-out U.K. tour in 2005, the group documented its initial full-length album, Activities, with manufacturer Larry Hibbitt from 100 Reasons. The record spawned three singles that received airplay on Radio 1, MTV2, Kerrang Television, and Scuzz. My Awesome Compilation spent another calendar year touring and playing in the celebration circuit, writing the stage with FALLOUT Boy, Reggie and the entire Impact, Alkaline Trio, and Funeral for a pal, in addition to making performances at Download, Summer months Sundae, Vehicle, and Pukklepop. In 2008, the group once more teamed up with Hibbitt and released its second record, Frontiers.
