The project of singer/multi-instrumentalist Jordan Lee, Mutual Advantage blends folk, psychedelic pop, and experimental recording techniques into fragile, hopeful songs that evoke the task of Sufjan Stevens, Animal Collective, as well as the Microphones. Lee was raised in Columbus, Ohio and started writing songs influenced by famous brands Elliott Smith while still in senior high school.
