Musée Mécanique

Called after a seaside museum in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, Musée Mécanique mixes pianos, guitars, synthesizers, and vintage tools into a exclusive chamber pop sound. Founding people Micah Rabwin and Sean Ogilvie had been elevated in California, where they drew impact through the museum’s vintage charm. Implementing the name Musée Mécanique, the duo started producing music that paid homage towards the same period evoked with the museum, which housed classic arcade video games and novelties salvaged from a vintage San Francisco leisure park. Both after that relocated to Portland, where they welcomed brand-new members in to the band’s fold and started composing tracks in earnest. Released in 2008, Keep This Ghost proclaimed Musée Mécanique’s full-length debut.
