b. Muriel Angelus Findlay, 10 March 1909, London, Britain, d. 22 August 2004, Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA. Given birth to to Scottish parents Angelus started her stage performing career at age 12. She 1st sang in music halls and, in 1928, made an appearance in the silent film, The Ringer. The next year, she made an appearance inside a German silent, Maskottchen.
