Murali Coryell

Although he’s the son of fusion guitarist Larry Coryell, Murali Coryell chose never to follow in the same design of music as his father — he specializes in blues and soul. Coryell released his debut record in 1995, Eye Wide Open, chasing it up four years afterwards with 2120 (documented at Todd Rundgren’s Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, NY, it became the initial ever album released by brand-new label CZYZ, made with the sons of primary Chess Information founders Leonard and Phil — Marshall and Kevin Chess) enlisting the providers of both Fishing rod Gross (drums) and Costs Foster (bass). In 2000, Coryell teamed along with his father and sibling Julian, to record the cooperation album Coryells.
