Formed in the tail-end of 2013 by vocalist Katie Gavin, guitarist/vocalist Naomi McPherson, and guitarist/vocalist Josette Maskin, who fulfilled while their studies at the College or university of Southern California, MUNA quickly come up with their debut EP, More Ideal. Released in middle-2014, the EP brought collectively their like of ’80s fresh influx and synth-pop, R&B, and contemporary left-field pop. The trio spent another year writing fresh material — putting your signature on to RCA in the U.S. and Country wide Anthem in the U.K. along the way — before liberating their sophomore EP, Loudspeaker, in-may 2016. By the finish of the entire year, MUNA acquired documented their debut record, with the causing About U showing up in early 2017. It had been co-produced with the music group and Dan Grech-Marguerat (Radiohead, Lana Del Rey.)
