Multicast Dynamics

Previously known for producing propulsive electro-techno simply because VC-118A and aquatic dub techno simply because Mohlao, Dutch producer and graphic designer Samuel van Dijk started Multicast Dynamics, a far more immersive, experimental project, in 2011. The alias maintains the submerged, aquatic atmosphere of Mohlao, but forgoes beats and only deeper, even more exploratory soundscapes that pull inspiration from character aswell as space. The initial Multicast Dynamics record, Scape, centered on dried out land, and was released on cassette by Finnish label Kaukana Väijyy Ambient in 2014. The next year, Denovali Information signed the task, re-releasing its debut concurrently using its second record, the huge, oceanic Aquatic Program. Scandinavia, inspired with the iced arctic tundra, implemented later in the entire year. The final record in the four-part series, the space-themed Outer Envelopes, found its way to early 2016. This wasn’t the finish of Multicast Dynamics, nevertheless; fifth record Continental Ruins made an appearance in 2017.
