British dream pop outfit Mt. Wolf’s atmospheric mixture of chamber pop, folk, digital, and R&B provides drawn evaluations to artists like Adam Blake, Bat for Lashes, Bon Iver, and Beach Home. Produced in 2011, originally being a quartet, the music group released their debut EP, Lifestyle Size Spirits, in 2012, accompanied by another EP, Hypolight, in 2013. The band’s elegant and brooding pop confections discovered favour with both critics and the general public, however the departure of co-founder and business lead vocalist Kate Sproule in 2014 rendered the band’s upcoming uncertain. Regrouping being a trio about vocalist Sebastian “Bassi” Fox, guitarist Stevie McMinn, and drummer Al Mitchell, Mt. Wolf returned in 2015 with a fresh EP, Crimson, which relied intensely over the distinct croon of Fox, with newcomer Alexa Harley financing her significant pipes to a melody as well. The next year noticed the trio concern their 4th EP of songs, Hex. May 2017 brought Mt. Wolf’s initial album with creation from Ken Thomas (Sigur Rós, M83), Aetherlight.
