Mr. Lif

When he began releasing singles in the later ’90s, party rap and gangsta rap were the dominant designs most MCs favored, but Mr. Lif’s lyrical plan was a politics and socially mindful one which recalled the rap superstars of the past due ’80s and early ’90s — Open public Foe, Gang Starr, and Boogie Down Productions. Delivered Jeffrey Haynes, Mr. Lif was raised in the Boston, Massachusetts suburb of Brighton, participating in college for just two years before concentrating on a music profession.
