Punk firebrands Mourn began being a cooperation between guitarists/vocalists Jazz Rodríguez Bueno and Carla Pérez Vas, a set of teenage close friends from Un Maresme, Catalonia, Spain. Bueno was raised within a musical family members: her dad Memoryón, a musician who performs as the brand new Raemon, presented her to Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, and various other artists who inspired her fresh songwriting design. When she fulfilled Vas at college, their distributed fondness for ’90s indie rock and roll led them to create music jointly. The set uploaded movies of their bracing acoustic music on the web, where they captured the attention from the Spanish label Sones. To record their initial recording, Mourn became a quartet, adding drummer Antonio Postius and bassist Leia Rodríguez (who was simply simply 15 when she became a member of). The music group documented its self-titled debut recording in two times, and Sones released it in Sept 2014. The next February, Captured Songs re-released Mourn. Simply over a yr later, the music group came back with Ha, Ha, He., including songs educated by Throwing Muses, middle-’90s Chicago post-rock, as well as the poetry of William Blake.
