Motorcycle Boy

This UK ‘indie’ pop group was formed in 1987 by former Shop Assistants singer Alex Taylor (vocals) with ex-Meat Whiplash personnel Michael Kerr (guitar), Paul McDermott (drums), Eddie Connelly (bass) and outsider, ‘Scottie’ (b. David Scott; acoustic guitar). Their debut solitary for Tough Trade Information, ‘Big Rock Chocolate Hill’ (previously a name for Burl Ives), reached #3 3 in the united kingdom independent chart. Not surprisingly promising start, and far music press interest, they failed, mainly through disorganization, to create the live circuit alight and consequently broke up immediately after the release of the lone album, that was documented for main label Chrysalis Information. Alex Taylor was apparently last spotted operating as (ironically) a store assistant for an archive store chain.
