Motopony

Motopony were formed in “the warehouse,” a loft in downtown Tacoma, Washington where songwriter Daniel Blue shared space with additional local performers and music artists. After amassing a assortment of quirky folk tunes, Blue started touring the Tacoma/Seattle region like a one-man take action. Buddy Ross ultimately joined him, 1st as a maker and later like a full-fledged bandmember, getting with him a more powerful focus on pop music. Guitarist Brantley Cady and drummer Forrest Mauvais also became a member of the lineup, and Motopony — right now a folksy electro-pop quartet, with the capacity of turning out acoustic ballads and fractured dance tunes — released their self-titled studio room debut in-may 2011. Their laid-back follow-up EP, Idle Beauty, was documented during an ensuing amount of multiple regular membership adjustments, and released by eOne Music in 2014. The music group settled in like a six-piece and launched even more psychedelic, grittier synth pop on the second full-length, 2015’s Welcome You, documented at Keep Creek Studio room in Woodinville, Washington using the lineup of Blue, guitarists Nate Daley and Mike Notter, keyboardist Andrew Butler, bass participant Terry Mattson, and Mauvais on drums.
