Moss & the Rocks

Sacramento, CA, garage area group Moss & the Stones released two obscure singles in 1966, both which contained exactly the same two music. “There She Goes”/”Make sure you KEEP COMING BACK” first arrived over the small regional Ikon label in early 1966, and there’s also some doubt concerning whether it had been released, as only 1 copy continues to be found by enthusiasts. The A-side was an acceptable if crude Byrds-influenced garage area folk-rocker, as was the even more ballad-like B-side, which place a greater focus on vocal harmonies. Afterwards in 1966, the group re-recorded both monitors, with virtually identical agreements but fuller creation (especially on “Make sure you KEEP COMING BACK”), for the bigger Southern Californian-based Chattahoochee label. This as well sold hardly any copies and soon after its, discharge they transformed their name to Community Nuisance, which documented some considerably harder-rocking, even more eclectic mixtures of garage area rock and roll and psychedelia in the past due ’60s. No Community Nuisance material premiered within the ’60s, but two CDs’ worthy of emerged over the Gotta Survive reissue in 2002, which thoughtfully included both edges of both Moss & the Stones singles too.
