Not to end up being confused with Nick Oliveri’s Mondo Generator task, Mos Generator certainly are a power trio from Silverdale, WA, who are specialized in reviving the vintage rock sounds from the 1970s and who contain Northwest music picture veterans Tony Reed (vocals, acoustic guitar, Wurlitzer; ex-Treepeople), Mobility scooter Haslip (bass; ex-Voodoo Gearshift), and Shawn Johnson (drums; ex-Mind Funk). Originally conceived circa 2002, Mos Generator adopted a self-titled debut with an apocalyptic idea album entitled Past due Great THE WORLD in 2005, a collection called The Vault Classes in 2006, and also a break up launch with lumberjack rockers the Hitch. Another full-length, entitled Tunes for Long term Gods, premiered by Small Rock in 2007.
