Morning

Formed in LA, California, USA, in 1970, Morning hours, originally referred to as Morning hours And Evening, comprised Jim Hobson (keyboards, vocals), Jay Lewis (guitar, vocals), an ex-member of Like beneath the name Jay Donnellan, Barry Dark brown (guitar, drums), Jim Kehn (guitar, drums), Terry Johnson (guitar) and Bruce Wallace (bass). Following the nation rock album Morning hours, Johnson and Wallace still left and in emerged bass participant Stuart Brotman, recently of Kaleidoscope. Struck Like Sterling silver sounded comparable to Morning hours, and comprised primary music by Lewis and smart versions of materials by Joni Mitchell and Hoyt Axton. Nevertheless the group split immediately after its discharge, with Hobson signing up for Delaney Bramlett and Lewis savoring a successful period with Albert Hammond.
