Morning 40 Federation

Produced in 1997 in New Orleans, LA, by saxophonist and vocalist Josh Cohen and trombonist and lead tubaist Space Rickshaw, Morning hours 40 Federation soon produced waves locally at home parties and little golf clubs and bars. After attaining a far more “protected” lineup — including Bailey Smith (guitars), Ryan Scully (guitars), Steve Calandra (bass), and Mike Andrepont (drums) — the music group begun to attract some essential interest, and after self-releasing two full-lengths, You MY BUDDY in 2000 and Technique Nasty in 2002, Morning hours 40 Federation — or the 40s, because they had been tagged by those “in the understand” — have scored a record cope with M80 Information. Their first function for their brand-new label, the self-titled Morning hours 40 Federation, was critically well received. Their following studio room foray, Ticonderoga, premiered to a lot more plaudits in 2006.
