Also known throughout his profession as Vince Monroe, Polka Dot Slender and Mr. Calhoun, Vincent was 40 years previous and surviving in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before he produced his first information, although he previously been playing harmonica and performing blues since his youngsters in Mississippi. Having created a method that mixed components of Sonny Boy ‘Grain Miller’ Williamson and Louisiana R&B, he appears to have been something of the all-purpose performer at J.D. ‘Jay’ Miller’s Crowley studio room in the past due 50s, documenting in somewhat different designs and using two different brands, with the causing records showing up on two different brands. He was resident in New Orleans for quite some time, playing in regional bars and night clubs, and making even more records, under just one more pseudonym, in the first 60s. Afterwards in his lifestyle, he transferred to the western world coast.
