Acquiring the name in the 1968 Russ Meyer film, The Mondo Topless induced their 60s raunch from the Sonics as well as the Stooges directly into their native Philadelphia in 1992. Accompanied with the classic sounds of the hand-me-down Vox Continental body organ, the quartets self-explanatory build of fast-paced rock and roll was first packed over the 1995 one “I’D LIKE You To” b/w “True Gone Gal.” Upon the discharge of the rings initial full-length Fifty-Thousand Money Hand Work on 360 Twist Information, the settled fall into line of Sam Steinig (vocals/ body organ), Tom Connors (drums), John Loxterman (bass) and Kris Alutius (electric guitar) spent another 2 yrs touring over the USA. Dinoysus Records ultimately released The Mondo Topless’ second record INCOMPARABLE Actions in 1998.
