Molly Marlette

Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Molly Marlette could possibly be termed a prodigy, but is even more an all natural musician and character. Delivered in 1978, she’s been playing since she was a kid, developing up in the LA area while studying music steadily through her early years, and graduating from Brea Olinda SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 2006. A few of her early affects included the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Youthful, Billie Vacation, Carole Ruler, Chet Baker, Lou Reed, Fleetwood Macintosh, Feist, Coldplay, Loss of life Cab for Cutie, and Radiohead. She pursued research like a faucet dancer, but opt for profession in music with near instantaneous results and acknowledgement. Focusing on playing the mandolin, acoustic guitar, and piano aswell as the Wurlitzer key pad, she also dabbles using the glockenspiel, melodica, and autoharp. Marlette’s self-released debut EP, The Allumette, was released in 2008. She recognizes herself like a folk-pop designer, but her design also contains jazz, blues, and rock and roll. Marlette’s bandmates consist of Dayna Coogan on keyboards, vocals, and percussion, and Makai Speed playing acoustic guitar, mandolin, melodica, and percussion. She’s played benefits Rock and roll for Darfur as well as the BY MYSELF But Not Only Basis. Marlette also got a component in the film A CHILD.
