Moistboyz

An amazingly offensive rap-metal offshoot of Ween, the Moistboyz comprised DJ/multi-instrumentalist Mickey Moist (a.k.a. Dean Ween) and “Mighty Whitey Lyricist” Dickie Moist. The group’s self-titled debut EP made an appearance on Grand Royal in 1994, espousing a viciously un-P.C. worldview up to date by racism, misogyny and homophobia yet undercut by Ween’s brand frat-boy humor; within the wake from the scathing one “O.G. Simpson,” the similarly juvenile Moistboyz II implemented in 1996. The task was shelved for another few years because of Ween’s prolific touring and documenting, but came back in 2002 with III and 2005 with IV.
