Cajun musician Moise Robin was the next accordionist that fiddler Leo Soileau had a normal duo with. Both began performing jointly in 1928, soon after Soileau’s initial partner, Mayeus LaFleur, was shot. Robin was 17 at that time he and Soileau started playing dances. Occasionally in addition they performed being a trio, with Soileau’s wife Joyce associated on electric guitar and vocals. Within a calendar year of developing, the duo documented; and while these were apart recording, Robin didn’t consume, and slept within a chair, to conserve every one of the cash he earned to get a T-Model Ford. After their go back to Arnaudville, the duo shifted to Opelousas and employed a supervisor, Elton Doucet. Robin performed even more dances and documented two more instances with Soileau before he needed a break through the musician’s existence and quit.
