Modern Existence Is Battle was shaped in the tiny city of Marshalltown, IA, in 2002 by five friends — vocalist Jeffrey Eaton, bassist Chris Honeck, drummer Tyler Oleson, and guitarists John Eich and Matt Hoffman — who shared the same imagine starting their personal D.I.Con. punk music group and in some way escaping the sleepy city where they was raised. Deathwish reissued My Like. My Method. in fall 2006, as the people spent time documenting their third record.
