The source for some of Juan Atkins’ perfect materials, Model 500 was the Detroit godfather’s guise for over ten years. You start with the 1985 traditional “No UFO’s” and increasing towards the discharge of his first genuine LP (1995’s Deep Space), the alias produced Atkins’ popularity with ten singles for his very own Metroplex Records and many others for the Belgian R&S label.
