Mobroder

The neo-Italo-disco outlet for MC Spank Rock and roll (Naeem Juwan), Mobroder — the alias a clear nod to Italian disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder — arrived using a fictitious back again story in regards to a “no-jive-taking female killer who brought his music to the very best from the American Pop charts,” and then be dethroned by “copy-cats.” Mobroder, flanked by companies Sweet Meats and Glucose Balls, debuted on Scion Sound/Visual this year 2010 with Hurry (The Remixes), a five-track digital download including mixes from fellow travelers Nile Delta and In Flagranti, along with an Amanda Empty duet dubbed, fittingly more than enough, “Like Duet.”
