Mixhell

Mixhell are an electro DJ/remix duo from Brazil featuring longtime Sepultura drummer Igor Cavalera and his wife, Laima Leyton. Created on Sept 4, 1970, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Cavalera may be the young sibling of vocalist/guitarist Utmost Cavalera, with whom he founded important thrash metal music group Sepultura in 1984. After many years of achievement and acclaim in the metallic underground, including such traditional albums as Arise (1991) and Chaos A.D. (1993), Potential still left Sepultura in 1996 (eventually founding the favorite metal music group Soulfly) and Igor ultimately still left in 2006. Soon after departing Sepultura, Cavalera founded Mixhell with Leyton plus they started executing live DJ pieces as Mixhell. In addition they specific in remix function, releasing a lot of it via the web. Among their most circulated produces was a January 2008 podcast on XLR8R.com that begins with a few electro edits of Iron Maiden.
