Mitch Seidman

An excellent guitarist with several releases over the Brownstone label, Mitch Seidman began playing with rock and roll rings in Albany, NY. He transferred to Boston in 1973 to wait Berklee and, apart from six years in NY, continues to be located in Boston since. He considers Jim Hall, Jimmy Raney, and Tal Farlow to become his main affects, and has used many musicians over time, including Harold Vick, Ted Dark brown, George Garzone, and Supplement Pomeroy. Siedman’s 1995 discharge Ants within a Trance utilizes the uncommon instrumentation of electric guitar, bass, bass clarinet, and viola.
