Using the gutsy lead vocals and songwriting of Delbert “Ngoni” Tyson as well as the trumpet playing and vocals of his brother, Wolford “Porko” Tyson, at the forefront, Misty in Roots has taken the music of Africa to the uk. Misty in Origins was formed from the three Tyson brothers, including Duxie Tyson, who passed away in a going swimming incident, as the back-up music group for Jamaica-born vocalist Nicky Thomas.
