Misty Edwards

A modern christian singer/songwriter and worship leader, Misty Edwards makes heartfelt folk and alternative-rock influenced music. Given birth to in Kansas Town, Missouri, Edwards was initially launched to music by her mom, who was simply a music instructor. At age group 19, she was employed as an intern at International Home of Prayer (IHOP) where she ultimately started playing piano and leading worship solutions. It had been also during this time period that she started writing and carrying out her own tunes, often sketching upon Bible verses for motivation. She’s released many albums, including 2003’s Eternity, 2005’s Usually on His Brain, 2007’s Relentless, 2009’s Fling Wide, 2011’s Way of measuring a guy, and 2013’s live recording Only a Darkness. Edwards remains linked to IHOP and regularly shows up at its Onething meetings.
