Jerusalem-based alt-rockers missFlag may have never discovered an audience beyond their indigenous Israel if indeed they hadn’t trapped a chord with KCRW DJ Nic Harcourt in 2007. Produced in 2005 and made up of vocalist Ohad Eliam, guitarist Assa Bukelman, keyboardist Gil Assayas, bassist Shai Saadia, and drummer Assaf Krauss, the group modeled themselves after moody, reverb-slicked United kingdom serves like Coldplay and Snow Patrol.
