Magic Legion were a Connecticut-based music group that immediately sprang alive on the pumps of the post-R.E.M. acoustic guitar rock growth, chiefly because business lead singer Tag Mulcahy’s tone of voice bore an uncanny resemblance to Michael Stipe’s, as well as the arpeggio acoustic guitar structures were comparable to Peter Buck’s.
