If the music of Minisnap bears a particular resemblance compared to that of New Zealand jangle pop legends the Bats, which perfectly reasonable explanation — Minisnap features the group’s lead guitarist Kaye Woodward writing and singing her music, with at least one fellow Bat sitting along with her atlanta divorce attorneys lineup. Being a founding person in the Bats, Woodward continues to be using the group since 1982, but after almost 2 decades she wanted an opportunity on her behalf own music to be noticed (guitarist and vocalist Robert Scott writes almost all the Bats’ materials), and in past due 2000, Minisnap produced its live debut, with Woodward on electric guitar and vocals and her longtime bandmate Paul Kean on bass. For a few early shows, digital percussion was supplied by a laptop, though just one more Bat, drummer Malcolm Offer, would shortly replace the device as a normal person in the group. Minisnap produced their documented debut using the 2002 EP IN MY OWN Pocket, with another short-form discharge, March Hare, pursuing in 2004.
