Fortunately, one needs no advanced level to comprehend Miniboone, whose music can be an angular but joyously poppy amalgam from the Speaking Mind, the Arcade Open fire, and early XTC. They jumped towards the Ernest Jenning Record Co., and their self-titled debut record made an appearance in 2013.
